The Story of House Troha
House Troha is an alpine house that opened in 2021. It has beautiful views and offers the perfect vacation for all who appreciate the warmth, comfort, and relaxation. House Troha is run by the Troha family, which has a long tradition of tourism. The great-grandfather Ivan Troha opened Hotel Troha in Bled, which came to life after the First World War, and in 1991 Bled Troha Pub was opened in Bled.
The place where House Troha now stands used to be a barn and our wish was to bring some of these memories into a new building. We preserved and reused most of the wood, to contain a piece of family tradition.
In the house, you can also see the original entrance portal from 1856, as well as the interestingly used wooden wheels of the wooden wagon that was in use on the estate. We believe in genuine contact with guests as well as our suppliers and food providers, so we are happy to work with surrounding farms and food producers to pamper you with a delicious local breakfast, that will make the start of your day even more beautiful.
